Over three decades, Dr. Billings has helped translate scientific discoveries into commercially successful products across diagnostics, maternal and pediatric health, precision medicine, and biotechnology. His experience spans venture-backed startups, publicly traded companies, and global healthcare organizations, providing expertise across the full continuum of commercialization, from product development and regulatory strategy to reimbursement, adoption, and enterprise scale.

As Chief Medical Officer at Natera, he helped drive the adoption of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), fundamentally reshaping maternal-fetal screening. He later served as Chief Medical Officer at Life Technologies through its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific, gaining extensive experience in scaling healthcare technologies within global markets.

Having served as CEO of venture-backed companies and held senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Quest Diagnostics, and Labcorp, Dr. Billings brings founders practical guidance on building companies capable of achieving broad clinical adoption and long-term commercial success.
