DevelopmentArmaBio is developing a multiplex point-of-care diagnostics platform capable of delivering laboratory-quality biomarker testing in minutes from a simple capillary blood sample. As healthcare increasingly shifts beyond hospitals, patients often deteriorate between visits while clinicians remain dependent on centralized laboratories for quantitative biomarker testing—particularly in pediatrics and maternal health, where venous sampling and timely laboratory access are significant barriers. Built on its patented Molecular Pendulum™ biosensor technology, ArmaBio enables accurate multiplex testing without reagents or complex laboratory workflows across a broad range of clinical applications. Protected by multiple international patents, supported by peer-reviewed validation, and advancing clinical studies, ArmaBio is building the infrastructure for decentralized precision diagnostics across pediatric and maternal healthcare.

ILiAD Biotechnologies is developing BPZE1, a needle-free intranasal pertussis vaccine designed to prevent infection, interrupt bacterial transmission, and provide more durable immunity than current vaccines. Although routine immunization has reduced disease severity, existing vaccines do not adequately prevent colonization, allowing continued transmission to vulnerable infants before they can be fully immunized. By inducing mucosal immunity, BPZE1 has the potential to redefine pertussis prevention and reduce the global burden of a disease responsible for an estimated 24 million cases and more than 160,000 deaths annually, primarily among children under five. The company's advancing clinical program is supported by six completed clinical studies and an oversubscribed $115 million Series B financing led by RA Capital Management to advance pivotal development of BPZE1.
